About the Institute

      Nanchang University is a national Double First-Class university, co-developed by the Ministry of Education and Jiangxi Province, and a leading comprehensive university in Jiangxi Province. The Institute of Biomedical Innovation at Jiangxi Medical College, Nanchang University focuses on national and regional health strategic needs, addressing major diseases threatening human health and cutting-edge scientific frontiers. With the goals of building a regionally first-class hub for high-level biomedical talent, a service highland, and a research platform, the institute emphasizes basic research and technological development in the fields of organoids and regenerative medicine, brain science and brain health, and tumor pathogenesis and prevention, promoting interdisciplinary "Medicine + X" innovation. The institute is a key construction unit under the Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Plan and the university innovation platform initiative, and one of the first batch of "Talent Work Demonstration Sites" in Jiangxi Province. It hosts several provincial and ministerial-level research platforms, including the Ministry of Education's "Innovation Center for Basic Research on Molecular Targeted Medicine for Solid Tumors," the Ministry of Education's "Organoid Biobank," and the Jiangxi Provincial Key Laboratories for "Brain Science and Brain Health" and "Precision Pathology and Intelligent Diagnosis." • Distinguished Scholars
  Candidates should possess strong academic leadership and internationally recognized pioneering achievements and outstanding contributions in the biomedical field. They should have experience in organizing and planning major research projects, demonstrate exceptional strategic planning capabilities for addressing major socioeconomic development challenges, and exhibit the strategic vision of a scientist to lead relevant discipline clusters to maintain or achieve domestic leading and internationally advanced levels.

• Disciplinary Leading Talents
  Candidates should possess strong academic organizational skills and have achieved influential results and significant accomplishments in the biomedical field at nationally leading or world-advanced levels. They should have an active academic mind with creative ideas for disciplinary development, capable of leading their discipline to a domestically leading position and striving for domestic leadership and international advancement in frontier areas.

• Disciplinary Direction Leaders
  Candidates should possess strong team organizational skills and have achieved important representative accomplishments in the biomedical field, demonstrating good academic competitiveness and significant potential for development. They should have the ability to plan the development direction of their discipline and possess innovative visions for its construction and academic research.

• Excellent Disciplinary Talents
  Candidates should possess strong academic capabilities and have influential representative achievements in the biomedical field. They should demonstrate developmental potential and innovative ideas for disciplinary construction, with the potential to support their discipline in maintaining or striving for domestic advanced levels. Candidates generally should have postdoctoral experience (2 years or more) from renowned domestic or international universities or research institutions, possess the potential to compete for national-level youth talent programs, and preference will be given to those who have already secured national-level research projects. There is no limit on the number of openings for the above categories. All applicants must hold a doctoral degree or possess a full professorship.

Salary, Funding, and Benefits

• Research Funding: Substantial start-up research funds will be provided for all talent categories, negotiated individually.

• Salary: Highly competitive salary packages will be offered, negotiated individually.

• Housing & Relocation Allowance: A talent apartment or a housing purchase subsidy will be provided.

• Space & Facilities: Ample laboratory space, high-level experimental platforms, and a supportive research environment will be provided.
