南昌大学生物医学创新研究院/基础医学院/第二附属医院教授,博士生导师。2005年获北京大学生物学学士,2010年获北京大学细胞生物学博士,随后在美国北卡罗莱纳大学教堂山分校(UNC-CH)医学院、哈佛医学院/波士顿儿童医院进行博士后研究,2015年回国加入武汉大学医学研究院任教授,2016年入选中组部千人计划青年项目。组建独立实验室以来在Dev Cell、Nat Chem Biol、Nat Commun、Genome Biol、Nucleic Acids Res、Stem Cell Rep、Development等期刊发表通讯作者(含共同)论文30余篇;发表论文总引用次数超过4500次,H因子29;申请国家发明专利10余项(8项已获授权);参与撰写中文教材/专著3部,英文专著1部。



实验室的长期兴趣是结合发育生物学和遗传学/表观遗传学的基础研究,应用于人多能干细胞(胚胎干细胞ESC、诱导多能干细胞iPSC,等)分化模型来揭示疾病发生的分子机制,关注组蛋白修饰、长非编码RNA以及细胞代谢层面的细胞命运决定的分子调控机制及其失衡与疾病(糖尿病)易感/发生之间的功能关联;同时以此获得功能性细胞用于再生医学(糖尿病的细胞治疗)。研究技术主要包括人多能干细胞建立和维持、定向诱导分化(早期胚层分化、内胚层胰岛分化),基因组编辑以及组织工程等。目前的主要研究方向:(1)⼈早期胚层分化和多能性的表观代谢调控机制;(2)⻓⾮编码RNA的功能解析;(3)糖尿病易感位点的功能和机制研究;(4)⾮编码区的表达调控机制。
