The research group is dedicated to interdisciplinary studies in reproductive medicine, reproductive biology, environmental science, and materials science. The team explores the mechanisms by which ion channels, membrane receptors, single-gene mutations, post-translational modifications, and environmental factors regulate reproductive function and contribute to the pathogenesis of infertility. They also develop corresponding precision diagnostic and therapeutic systems. Previous work includes establishing a high-throughput sperm ion channel detection platform, discovering various novel reproductive-related lysine acylation modifications, and developing a genetic diagnosis and treatment system for sperm motility disorders, providing new theoretical foundations and potential strategies for the precision treatment of infertility-related diseases. Specific research directions include:

1) Identification of infertility diagnostic and therapeutic targets based on novel acylation modifications (e.g., lactylation, crotonylation, succinylation) and single-gene mutations.

2) Mechanisms of emerging environmental pollutants (e.g., endocrine disruptors and nanoplastics) affecting reproductive health and development of intervention strategies.

3) Development of infertility intervention strategies based on targeted drug delivery using nanomaterials and cell-penetrating peptides, as well as AI-assisted drug screening.
