Graduated from the First Military Medical University in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine and obtained a Ph.D. in Medicine from the Third Military Medical University in 2002. From 2004 to 2012, served as Lecturer, Associate Professor, and then Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the Department of Pathology at Southern Medical University and its affiliated Nanfang Hospital, where he also held the position of Deputy Head. In 2012, he was appointed Distinguished Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Soochow University. Since 2016, he has been serving as Professor, Director, and Doctoral Supervisor in the Department of Pathology and the Center for Cellular and Molecular Diagnostics at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. In July 2023, he assumed roles as Guest Professor at Nanchang University, Vice President of its First Affiliated Hospital, and Director of both the Pathology Center and the Breast Center, while continuing as Doctoral Supervisor.



Conducting in-depth research on the molecular pathology of digestive system tumors, this work focuses on novel early diagnostic technologies, as well as the screening of individualized therapeutic targets, drug development, clinical efficacy validation, and the innovation of clinical diagnosis and treatment methodologies. Emphasis is placed on elucidating the roles and molecular mechanisms of tumor susceptibility genes, key signaling pathways, tumor metabolism, and post-translational modifications in tumor initiation and progression. The objective is to identify actionable intervention targets and establish novel strategies for effectively eliminating tumor cells, thereby laying a foundation for the improved prevention and treatment of solid tumors.
