With extensive experience in cognitive neurobiological research, I specialize in employing behavioral electrophysiology and behavioral pharmacology methods to study cognitive functions of the prefrontal cortex. I have achieved notable accomplishments in the research of cognitive functions such as working memory, behavioral inhibition, and decision-making. I previously investigated the role of the norepinephrine α2 receptor in the prefrontal cortex of monkeys in behavioral inhibition, providing experimental evidence for the clinical application of α2 receptor agonists in treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children. During my nine years abroad, I primarily applied electrophysiological methods to decode the encoding of movement by neurons in the cerebral cortex. After returning to China in 2013, I continued to深入研究 the encoding of cognitive functions such as working memory and decision-making by prefrontal neurons. To date, I have published over 30 research papers as a corresponding or first author in international journals such as Biological Psychiatry, Frontiers in Neuroscience, and Neuroscience Bulletin.
